Since 1988, Book Construction, Inc. has been involved in over one hundred (100) Rural Development apartment rehabilitation projects and several Housing Authority and Government Military projects. The Company has performed work in over eight (8) states in the Southeast and currently holds Contractor Licenses in North and South Carolina and Florida. Book Construction, Inc. has been involved with over sixty (60) Multi-Family complexes throughout the Southeast.
Pamela Macaluso, President of Book Construction, Inc., holds a BS Degree from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, PA. Mrs. Macaluso began her construction career in 1976 building single family homes. In 1978, Pamela and Larry Macaluso developed a sub-division called Book Estates and constructed twenty-five (25) single family homes.
Mrs. Macaluso oversees the financial and business ventures for the company.
Larry Macaluso, Vice President and Treasurer, holds a BS Degree in Education from California State in California, PA and a Masters Degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. Since 1975 he has been involved in new home
construction, residential development, commercial building and up-fitting, metal buildings, fire restoration and apartment rehabilitation. Mr. Macaluso has built over one hundred (100) single family homes, over 300,000 square feet of metal buildings and fifty (50) apartment rehabilitations. His experience includes involvement in construction of banks, schools, churches, mini-storage buildings and restaurants. In 2011, he was involved in over 200 storm related roof projects.
